Tick tick tick...

Time just seems to be flying in this year.
Today I have spent quite a lot of time making a special card that I needed for this weekend - I can't share it with you yet, but as soon as I can, then I will! lol (look out for my post on Sunday).
For the crafty makes today, I wanted to share with you some more of my demo cards from the last loop -

All 3 of these cards have been created using some of the dies that Do Crafts have brought to you - i have a fantastic collection of these building now.
(and just wait til you see the ones that they have heading your way over the next year!!!!)....
I will be showing you some more projects with the build a scene dies over the next week or so.... I love all the things you can do with them.....
If you have created any projects with them, leave me a link in the comments section - I would love to see what you have created.

Birthday scraps

Hi everyone...
I had a wonderful demo this weekend at Letham Crafts, I always love to visit their shop.
It's an amazing Aladdins cave full to the rafters with all the crafty goodness that you could imagine.
Here are a couple of cards I made using up some scraps of paper.... I really like these cards and think I will make some more with my scraps....

Are you on Facebook? If you are I have a page - you can find it over here.....
I'd love it if you stopped by and said hello!

I'm off to put away some more of my kit... not long now until the new one arrives..... exciting times...
I love when this next kit arrives - it normally comes on my birthday, so is just like getting an extra prezzie!

Back soon with some more to show you,

Till then, happy crafting...

Friday feeling..

Hello campers..... how are you all today... plans for the weekend?
I will be off in Letham Crafts tomorrow, I just love love love that shop!
It's a real life Aladdin's cave. I love it! Jam packed full to te roof top of everything a crafter couple ever want!
Today I wanted to show you a couple of quick mens cards - people always seem to struggle with these type of cards.
These are a couple of cards that I made this loop using the spots and stripes paper.
I'd love to hear what you think...

I thought the pocket on the bottom card would be a great place to pop in a voucher for that special man in your life.
Right..... bags need packed so I'd better get on with it! lol
If you are near Letham tomorrow, mke sure you pop in and say hello..... taste some of Bill's wonderful baking.... hmmmmmmmm yum yum
I'll be back after the demo to let you know how it goes and to show you some more of my samples.

Snow days mean....

getting crafty and creative inside in the warm!
Today I wanted to create a little tutorial to show you how to make paper roses....
Now I have made them using the big bloomer flowers from Do Crafts, but you could use any size of flowers and any type of flowers.
I can now imagine 10000s of little roses been made across the country! lol Get those punches and big bloomers out and let me see what you create!

These are the 3 flowers that I am using to create my rose.
For the rose middle, take one flower (white side up) and fold up the petals as shown in the photo.
Fix this into pace on the next flower (this time pattern side up).
Start to fold the petals up.
Glue this into position on the final flower.
Again mould the petals to create the shape of rose that you want.
Hey presto!
You can use this technique to make any size of flower - look out all those little flower punches that you have and get creative!

Happy crafting

Today I think we should all...

I love this..... think it could be my new logo on a few t-shirts! lol

There is a brand new challenge blog that goes live today - our very own Crafting Cafe now has a challenge blog..... Woop! Woop!, very exciting..... Come on over and visit us!
There are some wonderful challenges coming your way and lots of great prizes too....
You will find us HERE!
It would be great if you could pop over and say hi....

Here is the card that I wanted to share with you today - I will have this to show you at my demo tomorrow (Pop on over to Mayfield Garden Centre in Kelso and say hi if you are in the area, it would be great to see you..... but be warned! They have a fabby shop that is full of lots of crafty yummy stuff!)

I created it using the x-cut nesting dies.... the body and head are made from circles and the ears are from the butterfly die..... The trunk and grass I just did freehand.
I thought this would be great fun for the kiddies in your life - I plan to add a kite or balloon on a string wrapped around his trunk..... The birthday message, age or name will go on that.....

Hope you have a very crafty day.... remember to pop on over to the Crafting Cafe blog to add the link to your project.... you have to be in it to win it!
